Radio Jarocho is very proud to host weekly jarana and zapateado workshops at Casa Mezcal. This year we even added a Tuesday zapateado class, so anyone who's interested can come and learn. Because our students are getting better and better every day, we've decided to showcase their talents with a performance this Friday, March 9th at Obra Negra, Casa Mezcal's very own bar and stage. Our wonderful jareneros and bailadoras will play a number of traditional sones jarochos, followed by Radio Jarocho's show. We'll present the songs you've heard and loved, plus two new compositions. So, come by, drink some mezcal, and support our students. You'll love them, we guarantee it.
